In response to requests from our citizens and visitors who use our parks, recreational trails, and open spaces, the City of Punta Gorda is pleased to provide an Amenity Gift Program.

This program provides you an opportunity to help “Restore, Maintain & Improve” our City’s Public Spaces. Monetary contributions for public amenities make great gifts for any occasion, while investing in our City’s parks, recreational trails & open spaces.

These gifts provide meaningful tributes which leave a lasting legacy to a family or friend while supporting much needed City infrastructure.

The program allows for the donation of a new amenity (bicycle rack, bench, etc) to be located in a public space where none exists; the “adoption” of an existing or pre-planned amenity; or the donation of a monetary gift of any amount to be placed into the general fund which will be used for the replacement of an aging pre-existing City amenity.

Sponsors will work with an Urban Planner to identify specific needs and locations.
