The City of Punta Gorda's Code of Ordinances requires a no-charge permit for each of the Following:

Residential	Commercial Business
Garage / Estate / Yard Sale	Business Event
General Parking	Business Promotion Event
Recreational Vehicle Parking	Grand Opening Event
Watercraft Parking	Temporary Promotional Event
Moving Vehicle
